Activate the Glow-in-the-Dark cock cage, U-Rings, and spacers by exposing them to light, which charges the phosphors and re-emits light. Sufficient charge time depends on the type of light. To preserve the glow, do not leave under direct light for long periods of time. Choose any of the following:

• 3-4 mins of UV/Blacklight
• 7-8 mins of direct sunlight
• 21-23 mins of fluorescent light (strip lighting or energy-saving bulbs)
• 24-26 mins of incandescent light (standard filament bulbs)
