If you aren't already aware, we are sluts for data. Every time we run a survey, we get to peek inside the chastity cage and see what's actually happening in your lifestyle routines versus what everyone assumes. This Anal August, we asked you specifically how prostate anal play fits (or doesn't) into your lock-up. 183 of you answered honestly, generously, and in a few cases, in more detail than we expected. Weāre forever grateful to this community for showing up when we ask.
Since we also ran this survey last year, every chart below has a 2025 toggle on the top right. Click the toggle to turn it off if you only want to see 2026 responses. Leave it on to see a comparison of 2025 vs. 2026 responses.
Here's what the 2026 numbers have to show from your answers.
This wasn't a beginner-only survey, and it wasn't an experienced user-only survey; it was a full spectrum. 58 of you called yourselves Experienced (2+ years in chastity), another 58 landed in Intermediate (6 monthsā2 years), 32 are committed veteran users (5+ years active in the chastity lifestyle), and 30 are still Beginners (under 6 months). A brave 5 haven't tried chastity at all yet but were curious enough to fill out the survey anyway. Thank you for being vulnerable.
Anal experience skewed more seasoned than we expected: 94 of you are Intermediate (comfortable with plugs and medium toys), 41 called yourselves Advanced, and 16 said Experts, into all exploration through the back door. Only 25 are still in Beginner territory (fingers, small toys only), and 7 haven't tried anal play yet. Translation: most of the CB-X community isn't dabbling; theyāre already actively playing.
We asked directly: did being locked in chastity push you toward exploring anal or prostate play? And 84 said yes, chastity was the reason they went looking for a prostate orgasm in the first place, while 92 said no, they were already exploring anal play before the chastity cage entered the picture.
So who led who?
One respondent summed up the "anal came first" scenario perfectly: "Anal came first, then chastity. New to prostate play specifically." And then there's the answer that stopped us:Ā "Started as a result of a medical condition and was therapeutic at first but realized I loved it."
Whichever order it happened in, the overlap between the two experiences is clearly there, and that tracks with our data. Take away the traditional finish opportunity and the body (& mind) starts looking for other access points.
We wanted to hear about the real routine, not the fantasy version. So we asked how often anal play or prostate stimulation actually makes it into your chastity practice, and the honest answer for most of you is that it's a regular guest star.
There's also a group who checked "never, but interested to try," and we think about them more than they probably realize. It shows real curiosity is sitting on the sidelines, and we want to remind you that curiosity doesn't need a special occasion to try something for the first time.
Wearing a chastity cage changes the way you reach and achieve orgasm, and the results from our survey reflect that. Here's what type of orgasms 183 respondents are experiencing when locked in a chastity cage (some are playing more than one way):
Plenty of you also skipped the multiple choice and used the write-in box to describe, in loving mechanical detail, the practice of: holding a vibrating wand against a locked cage. We see you too, and we think that's a genius loophole to penile stimulation while locked in a chastity cage.
A few of you are still chasing that first release, and we feel for you: "Hoping to have my first prostate only orgasm!" and "Hope to gain more orgasms, the 'right' way." We see you too. Keep behaving.
Half of you reported better and more intense orgasms. Expected and solid data. But the second top answer is the one we can't stop thinking about: nearly as many of you said prostate play changed how you feel about your body and/or your sexuality.
Not only "it felt good", but p-spot play changed something within your mindset. This is why we advocate and educate about using chastity as a tool to explore the unexplored.
One respondent put it about as bluntly as it can be put: "Getting the prostate played with is like out of this world and is the closest men can get to know what a female orgasm can be like."
Another response simply stated: "It makes me realize who I am." We support this 100%.
Two more responses, specific to hands-free play:Ā "That first hands free prostate orgasm is life changing," and "First time was mind blowing. Now when I do orgasm from it I'm usually caged and that counts for release."
And some of you are still trying to achieve a prostate orgasm, and/or might just be getting interested in exploring the p-spot. Our advice? Start now.
We asked what's actually in the rotation, and dildos took the top spot by a wide margin. That says a lot about the kind of play happening out there. These backdoor sessions aren't just a quick plug-and-release. Many of you are exploring depth, angles, and pegging dynamics as part of your chastity play, and roughly half of you own a harness.
A grand total of two respondents said they don't use anal toys and aren't interested. Fair enough. Not everyone likes peaches.
When we asked what features matter most in an anal or prostate toy, you handed us a product roadmap. Vibrating won by a mile. Waterproof and body-safe materials right behind it. Then rechargeable, p-spot-specific design, and hands-free wearability, all clustered together in terms of your ideal features.
The demand for hands-free, app-enabled gear tells us exactly what a lot of you want: to be controlled from anywhere. As a chastity company, that makes total sense to us. Remote and Bluetooth-enabled play is going from novelty to expectation.
And then one of you wrote us an actual engineering spec:
"I love the anal toys that are connected to a cock ring, but 9 out of 10 times they tend to fall out or the distance between the ring and the plug is too short. A design with more of a plug to keep it in, thrusting and rotating head with stronger motor, and a strong vibe attached to the cock ring that could be worn with a cage, would be amazing!"
Noted. Seriously, noted.
Budget talk, because cost matters. The short version: premium toys took the top spot this year, with mid-range right behind it, and almost nobody is shopping for cheap items.
Most of you are comfortable spending real money on the right toy, and honestly, that tracks with the wishlist above. App control and remote features don't come cheap, and you've told us you'll pay for the features you want. More toys coming soon to the CB-X Kink Boutique just for you!
The most telling stat of the whole survey: 127 of you said "Yes, absolutely" you'd recommend combining chastity with prostate/anal play to a partner who's never tried it. It was a landslide in favor of prostate play.
One respondent left us with this: "I wish everyone could experience the pleasure that is a prostate induced orgasm! simply amazing!"
And another wrote better copy than we could have: "Prostate play on its own is great, but coupled with chastity it is amazing! Chastity doesn't have to be about long term lock up and denial. An occasional and simple power play switch with your partner can be a great way to keep sparks flying. Grab a cage, grab a strapon, and go have some fun!"
The takeaway from the 2026 Anal August survey isn't just that chastity and anal play overlap. It's how deeply they overlap, and how many of you describe the experience as identity-shifting rather than just satisfying. Whether the chastity cage led you to prostate play or prostate play led you to the chastity lifestyle, the two clearly go hand-in-hand.
Judging by that toy feature wishlist, we need to get new products ready to pair with your chastity cage ASAP.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer honestly, and to the people who wrote us paragraphs instead of checkboxes. We're listening and we hear you. Including the man who told us he rides his yard mower in chastity with a plug-in because it's a bumpy ride. Special shout-out to him.Ā
Here's to more data, more orgasms, and more of you telling us exactly what you want next. See you next year.
